ALDS Game 3

Some people like to watch alone. I can certainly understand why that would be, but I prefer company.

I imagine how great it would be to be in a bar full of Tiger fans. The high fives, chest bumps, hugs with people that understand how hard all of this has been until now. I suppose I have the next best thing in a wife and friends that rejoice and weep with me, even though the Detroit Tigers is not their team (or sport) of passion.

To KofE's point, there tends to be alot more Yankee haters than Tiger lovers...but... I'll take it. I'll take all the commradery I can get right now.

Obviously, last night was a ridiculous and unexpected gem that just might trump any single 1984 moment in my mind. Before you go crazy, please note that I was 10 yrs old in 1984 and may not have as vivid a recollection as some of you older fans. I will say it is up there with Gibby's 2 upper deckers.

I feel to go any further to describe last night would only reiterate what Mark from BlessYouBoys.com has already so eloquently penned.

I don't think that there is a bigger Yankee Hater out than Casey, so he was watching these games very intently. I'm happy for your team, barry (by the way, I was born in Michigan, so I could be a Tiger's fan, too. I would just have to enjoy baseball a bit more).

I can't believe you haven't posted about yesterday's game yet? Still hung over from the celebrations? :) Go Tigers!

Roar.
