AL Central...going cheap.

I was all smiles going into these last couple of games. Yankees had to face those nasty Jays. I knew the White Sox were going to take out ALL their aggression on the Twins. The Tigers were poised to steamroll the hapless Royals for the division crown and (fanfare please) THE BEST RECORD IN BASEBALL!

Tigers follow a script about as well as Robin Williams and these last few games have been almost as annoying. The Tigers are heading into the ALDS with a whimper and my only hope is homefield vs. Oakland, first round. It looks like the Twins will not be starting Santana, but Baker tonight vs. Vazquez which means that even if we lose tonight, with a Twin loss (which is likely) we will still lock the division and get that coveted Oakland matchup w/ homefield.

Here is the kick in the pants. I get to root for the Twins! The Twins in a five game series. Santana pitches game 1 and 5. We see him only once in the ALCS...that is if we beat Oakland of course...which as it looks right now, we couldn't beat the Royals in a best of five. Shut up and let me dream...It's all I have.
